Preschoolers, students and teachers are able to make the healthy choice the easy choice at early childhood centers, schools and out of school time programs. Two early childhood centers, 28 schools and 22 afterschool/summer camps were recognized the Second Annual Wellies on Thursday, September 19 at the Bon Secours St Francis Wellness Arena.
Attendees enjoyed a green carpet entrance, photography opportunities, demonstration stations throughout the concourse and a 30 minute show highlighting healthy eating and active living policies, systems and environments. Attendees enjoyed a nutritious and delicious lunch by Center Plate.
