After previously working for LiveWell in a variety of grants-related capacities, Shannon returned in October 2023 as a Grants Manager, focusing on the REACH cooperative agreement (Racial and Ethnic Approaches to Community Health), a large federal grant. Shannon earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Health and Exercise Sciences from Furman University. Shannon enjoys reading, hiking, and spending time outdoors. She is happily married and has two wonderful daughters and two dogs.
Susan Frantz joined LiveWell Greenville in October 2018. As Food Security Director, she coordinates the Greenville County Food Security Coalition, working to build connections among community members and food system partners to build a more equitable food system. She earned her master’s in Public Policy from the University of Maryland. In her free time, she enjoys gardening and hiking with family.
Diana Hoyos Lopez joined the team in December 2024, serving both LiveWell Greenville and Furman University’s Institute for the Advancement of Community Health (IACH) as a Research Assistant through a shared partnership supported by the American Heart Association and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. Diana brings five years of experience in community outreach, public health education, and primary healthcare. She is a proud alumna of Wingate University and its Honors Program, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Services.
Diana first connected with LiveWell as a member of the HEAL Board and now applies her passion for community health in this new role. She has lived in Greenville for 24 years and enjoys drawing, painting, reading, and spending time with her family and dog, Benito.
Katherine Kransteuber returned to LiveWell Greenville in January 2023 as Grants Manager. Katherine first joined LiveWell in 2016 as Grants Administrator after previously serving on LiveWell’s Access to Healthy Foods workgroup and Leadership Team. Katherine earned a Master of Science in Natural Resources from the University of Vermont, and has worked as a freelance grant writer for almost a decade. A longtime proponent of healthy eating, active living and environmental stewardship, Katherine lives in New Hampshire where she hikes, skis and enjoys other outdoor adventures with her husband and two sons.
Sara Montero-Buria joined LiveWell Greenville in 2021 and currently serves as the Communications Director. She leads strategic messaging, branding, and community engagement to support LiveWell’s mission of creating a healthier, more connected Greenville County. Originally from Tijuana, Mexico, Sara has over a decade of experience in nonprofit communications, with a focus on community engagement, creative strategy, and graphic design. She enjoys traveling, dabbling in Mexican folk arts, and spending time with her husband and daughter.
DeAndra officially rejoined the LiveWell team in October 2023 to serve as the Food Security Manager. During her time away from LiveWell, she remained a committed Food Security Coalition member and spent a few years working for a partner agency. DeAndra earned her master’s degree in public health with a concentration in health promotion, education, and behavior from the University of South Carolina in 2013. She has experience in fitness coaching, injury prevention, and infectious disease prevention and management. In her spare time, she enjoys playing with her two daughters and eating tasty plant-based meals from establishments around the Upstate.
Dr. Megan Richmond joined the team in 2025 as the Postdoctoral Training Coordinator, serving both LiveWell Greenville and Furman University’s Institute for the Advancement of Community Health (IACH) through a shared position supported by the American Heart Association and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. Megan brings over 20 years of experience in healthcare, health outcomes research, higher education, and patient advocacy. She works closely with research teams and community partners to strengthen training in Community-Based Participatory Research (CBPR). Megan enjoys hiking, biking, and exploring trails with family and friends, and is active in her local church and civic organizations.
Rut Rivera serves as the Community Engagement Director at LiveWell Greenville, where she leads efforts to expand access to health and well-being across all communities. With over 15 years of experience, Rut has worked extensively across South Carolina, particularly within the Hispanic community, leading advocacy efforts and community-centered initiatives.
She previously led a team of Community Health Workers at Prisma Health through the PASOs program, and currently serves on multiple boards and advisory committees focused on health, housing, and equity. Rut brings a deep understanding of the barriers immigrant communities face. She enjoys cooking for her family, working with ceramics, and spending time with her two children.
Vanessa Rodriguez joined the team in March 2020, serving both Hispanic Alliance and LiveWell Greenville as the Community Action Coordinator in an innovative partnership for the BUILD Trust, BUILD Health Initiative. Vanessa holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a major in Communication Media in Business from the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico. She has 20+ years of communications and public relations experience in government, corporate, and nonprofit organizations. Vanessa’s interests include running, travel, and her personal blog, DESCALZA.
Sabrina Smith joined the team in October 2018 and is the Active Living Director. She’s responsible for grants management, working closely with all coalition efforts to meet LiveWell Greenville’s objectives. She earned her Master of Public Health degree from the University of South Carolina and has 15+ years of experience working on healthy eating and active living strategies for both the public and private sector. Sabrina enjoys exploring the outdoors with her family and creating things.
Sai Sravanthi Rompicharla joined the team in December 2024, serving both LiveWell Greenville and Furman University’s Institute for the Advancement of Community Health (IACH) as a Senior Research Associate through a collaborative partnership funded by the American Heart Association and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. She leads research and evaluation efforts to support community health initiatives and has extensive experience in public health research, program evaluation, and data analysis. Sai has collaborated with clinical and community partners to implement research-driven solutions that address pressing public health challenges.
Before joining LiveWell, she worked with Sustainable Jersey City, FXB International, and S2 Hospitals. She holds an MPH in Global Health from New York University and a Doctor of Pharmacy from M.S. Ramaiah College of Pharmacy.

Amanda Warren joined the LiveWell team in March 2023. As the Associate Director, she is responsible for providing operational leadership and guidance to the coalition, as well as directly supporting staff members.
Amanda has 4 years of experience teaching in an under-resourced middle school and over 15 years of experience working in leadership at a direct service nonprofit agency. She also is the chair of the Greenville Transit Authority Board of Directors. A former college soccer player, Amanda coaches a youth soccer team and enjoys spending time with her husband and two children.
Kelly joined LiveWell Greenville in September 2024 as the Fund Development Director. She provides financial leadership while creating and managing funding strategies to support our mission of improving health outcomes in Greenville County. She has a Bachelor of Science in Communication from The Ohio State University. Kelly has 25+ years of nonprofit leadership and event management, with a focus on creating impactful initiatives and building strong community connections. She enjoys traveling, hiking and spending time outdoors with her husband, children and dogs.
Sally Wills has had the privilege of working with LiveWell Greenville since 2011 and has served as the Executive Director since 2013. Her varied experience in public health settings includes a background in community development; program implementation and evaluation; and health education. Sally holds a Master of Public Health degree from the University of South Carolina’s Arnold School of Public Health. Sally enjoys spending time with her husband and daughters, hiking, and experimenting in the kitchen.
