LiveWell Greenville Becomes Official Charity Partner of BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina Race 13.1 Greenville Half Marathon, 10k and 5k
The inaugural BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina Race 13.1 Greenville half marathon, 10k and 5k event on September 9, 2017 is proud to announce LiveWell Greenville as the Official Charity Partner for the event!
“We are thrilled to partner with LiveWell Greenville for our inaugural Greenville race and our second South Carolina event,” said Race 13.1 Operations Manager, Ali Magnuson.
“Race 13.1 strongly believes in LiveWell and the great work the coalition partners have accomplished in Greenville over the years. Both their mission and ours revolve around promoting healthy lifestyles. We are pleased that the even will allow LiveWell Greenville to benefit from the branding and fundraising opportunities offered by a well-produced running event. Furthermore, runners will really enjoy the fun and supportive atmosphere at a great location in Greenville.”
The race’s route will use part of Swamp Rabbit Trail, located just minutes from downtown Greenville. The Greenville event is part of the Race 13.1 Half Marathon Series, which hosts more than 20 events annually across the U.S. Race 13.1 events provide runners with on-course entertainment, finisher medals for all distances, high-quality tech shirts, convenient parking, and expedited packet pick up.
The official start time for the half maration is 7:00 AM, and the 5k and 10k will start at 7:15 AM. The cost to register varies from $30 to $90 depending on the race distance and how far in advance the race participants register.
