LiveWell Greenville’s First Healthy Workplace Roundtable of 2016
You’re invited to LiveWell Greenville’s First Healthy Workplace Roundtable of 2016!
Our topic will be “Optimizing Human Capital: Empowering Employees through Understanding Behavior Styles,” and we hope you can join us on Thursday, February 18th from 11:45am to 1:30pm at the Bon Secours St. Francis Millennium Community Room.
Throughout 2016, LiveWell At Work will be presenting a series of educational resources to help Upstate employers understand and maximize their largest asset – their employees.
The first in this series is our February 18th Winter Roundtable, entitled “Empowering Employees through Understanding Behavior Styles.”
This opening 2016 event is the building block for each session to follow; with each subsequent event, the conversation will revolve around understanding your behavior style, how you interact with other behavior styles and how understanding these styles can help you optimize human capital in your workplace and life.
Each attendee will take a DISC Personal Strengths Profile, a tool that can be used at no cost in your workplace. The DISC assessment profiles an individual’s spectrum of behavioral traits, highlighting both strengths and limitations, describing how you behave in your natural environment and when you feel you are being observed.
Understanding the natural and adaptive styles of those you manage or work alongside can be very valuable in creating success in your workplace, and understanding employees behavior styles encourages productivity by aligning roles and responsibilities accordingly.
Renee Alexander, an organizational development consultant at Greenville Health System, will be the facilitator and presenter of our opening roundtable, wherein she will help attendees understand their own behavior styles. Please join us next month to learn more!
A healthy lunch will be provided by Babaziki’s Mediterranean Grill; tickets are $10 per person.
