Building Resilience in OST and Beyond

Resilience is a strong indicator for an individual's success and healthy lifestyle. On Wednesday, November 30 from 8:30am-12noon at the University Center of Greenville (225 S Pleasantburg), attend this session to learn strategies on how to build support for all children experiencing toxic stress. Learn how building resilience in school aged children can support social, emotional, and academic development while reducing the effects of toxic stress and trauma.

LiveWell Where You Work and Worship

Employees and congregants are able to make the healthy choice the easy choice where they work and pray.  24 worksites and 8 places of worship were recognized for adopting healthy eating and active living policies, systems and environments.  Close to 300 attendees enjoyed the Second Annual Wellies at Bons Secours St. Francis Wellness Arena on Thursday, September 19.

Preschoolers, students and teachers are able to make the healthy choice the easy choice at early childhood centers, schools and out of school time programs.  Two early childhood centers, 28 schools and 22 afterschool/summer camps were recognized the Second Annual Wellies on Thursday, September 19 at the Bon Secours St Francis Wellness Arena.

On Thursday, September 19 at the Bon Secours St. Francis Wellness Arena, LiveWell Greenville hosted second annual Wellies! Close to 300 people celebrated 82 partners for adopting 1,415 healthy eating and active living policies, systems and environments impacting approximately 53,400 individuals.
