LiveWell Greenville Announces First Annual Park Hop Scavenger Hunt
With the beginning of Summer fast approaching parents everywhere are looking for fun, cost-effective ways to get their children active and outdoors. The Park Hop Scavenger Hunt was created to do just this. This summer adventure was developed to help Greenville County residents connect to the wealth of parks and recreation facilities in our community and encourage active healthy living. The First Annual Park Hop Scavenger Hunt is a collabrative effort involving the cities of Greenville, Greer, Fountain Inn, Simpsonville, and Travelers Rest and Mauldin, as well as Paris Mountain State Park, Greenville County, The Greenville Health System’s Children’s Hospital, and the Greenville Drive
Participants in the scavenger hunt can download a Park Passport with parks descriptions and clues that will guide them on their summer journey to 17 differnt parks. Parks passports can be accessed by registering at www.parkhop.org. After registering you will be redirected to the park passport.
Participants have the opportunity to win cool prizes which include, but are not limited to, Park Hop t-shirts, Greenville Zoo Passes, GCRD water park passes, carraige rides in Fountain Inn, train rides at Heritage Park in Simpsonville, and Greenville Drive Vouchers. Participants who reach the grand prize level will be entered to win a drawing to throw the first pitch at a Greenivlle Drive Game.
