News & Updates – Healthy Workplace Awards
At the first annual LiveWell Healthy Workplace Expo and Awards Luncheon on April 25, LiveWell Greenville presented Healthy Workplace Awards to ten companies that are leaders in supporting employee health and cultivating healthier work environments. Companies were recognized for having a comprehensive wellness strategy that includes upper management support, a committee that monitors effectiveness, screenings that identify areas for improvement and a variety of initiatives that promote health and well-being. “These companies, representing large, mid-size and small businesses, are models for others in our community,” said Richard Osborne, the LiveWell At Work Consultant. “They have invested time and resources that will yield results in increased productivity, improved employee morale and potential reduction in health care costs.”

Greenville Health System – Gold Level Winner
ScanSource, Inc. – Silver Level Winner
Bon Secours St. Francis Health System – Bronze Level Winner
City of Greenville – Bronze Level Winner
Mid-Sized Companies (100 – 500 employees)
Hartness International – Silver Level Winner
Elliott Davis – Silver Level Winner
Southern Weaving – Silver Level Winner
Canal Insurance Co. – Bronze Level Winner
Small Companies (less than 100 employees)
Rosenfeld Einstein – Silver Level Winner
Green Cloud Technologies – Bronze Level Winner
Awards were presented by Sportsclub and event sponsors included Upstate Business Journal and the City of Greenville. The Healthy Workplace Expo featured over 25 vendors and presentations by workplace wellness experts. A special panel session featured Q&A with representatives from the award winners.
