Register now for training to help you coach your patients for success

It’s a challenge to help your patients set realistic goals for healthy behavior change.  Limited time during an office visit, the patient’s lack of readiness to make changes, or the multiple changes he or she needs to make are just a few barriers health care providers face in health coaching.

How can you coach your patients for success in healthy behavior change?  Carl N. King, EdD and his colleagues have developed a health coaching model that combines approaches from Stages of Change and Motivational Interviewing theories that is straightforward and easy to implement in your practice.  This introductory session at the South Carolina Medical Association annual meeting will get you started on using health coaching.

Saturday, April 30th, 10:15 – 11:15 a.m.
